Volunteer Opportunities at Rivers of Hope
At Rivers of Hope, volunteers play a vital role in supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Whether you’re an individual, part of a business, or a member of a congregation, there are meaningful ways to make a difference in our community.
Assemble Support Kits
Help us provide comfort and essential items to survivors during moments of crisis. Volunteers can purchase, collect, and assemble support kits filled with toiletries, journals, comfort items, and other necessities. You can also organize a kit‑packing event with your workplace, congregation, or community group. A donation of $25 provides one complete kit for a woman, child, or senior navigating a violent experience.
Host a Fund Drive
If assembling kits isn’t the right fit, consider hosting a fund drive. These drives help sustain our programs and ensure survivors have access to safety, advocacy, and healing resources when they need them most.
Volunteer Your Time
We offer a variety of volunteer roles, including event support, administrative assistance, outreach, and hands‑on program help. No experience is required—just compassion, reliability, and a desire to uplift others.
Group and Corporate Volunteering
Businesses and congregations looking to support the community can partner with us through group volunteer days, kit‑packing events, or fundraising efforts. These activities strengthen teams while making a direct impact on the lives of survivors.
