Our Staff

Rivers of hope advocates care about you…

Every staff member at Rivers of Hope chose to work in this field because they care about survivors of domestic violence and want to help them find safety in their lives and relationships. Regardless of whether you work with an adult advocate or a youth advocate you can trust that you will be respected and valued. We care about the people we serve and work to ensure that their voices and desires are what guide the services we offer them.

If you are experiencing domestic violence, intimate partner violence, family violence, or teen dating violence we are here for you. You do not have to go through it alone.

To speak to an advocate by phone call us 24/7 at 763-295-3433.

A note from our director

Rivers of Hope is a community organization committed to living out our mission of ending family violence through advocacy, education, and interagency collaboration. Every day we offer advocacy, support, and resources to families, individuals, and youth experiencing violence in their relationships. We cannot do the work we do alone. We rely on members of our community to spread the word about Rivers of Hope. So many people go through domestic violence alone and for some, it is just because they don’t know what resources are available to them. We are a free resource and we are here to stay. If you know someone experiencing relationship violence let them know that we are here, give us a call for guidance on navigating the situation with your loved one or give them our number to call and speak with an advocate. Let them know that we are a safe and confidential resource and we that their abuser doesn’t have to know that they are trying to get help. One of my goals for Rivers of Hope is that everyone in Wright & Sherburne County will have at least one person in their support circle who is aware of the work we do.

If you would like to learn more about the work being done by Rivers of Hope let me know! I love meeting community members and talking about the amazing work being done by our advocates. Feel free to give me a call at 763-295-8902 or email me at hpatterson@riversofhope.org to connect.
